The latest update for Half-Life 2 is available to download now. Its available for users with the operating system. It seems that Valve still has some love for Half-Life 2, though, since the company is still churning out the occasional update for the game. Its current version is 2016 and its last update happened on. It seems that Valve lost interest in the idea of creating the physical product of Half-Life 3 in favor of feeding the myth, as the game could never live up to the hype that has been built up after so long. The NPCs could blink during scripted moments, but couldn't do it during regular gameplay, which made them all stare without blinking like Bela Lugosi's Dracula.įans of the Half-Life series have waited a long time for the release of Half-Life 3 and it seems as if Valve has been leaving a trail of hints over the past fifteen years, yet it has never followed up on it.
